The idea for “Not All Wounds Are Visible” came from a conversation I had with a friend of mine. Now, I’m not going to go into too much detail, but we ended up talking about some dark topics. It was a huge eye opener, that even the people you think are the strongest, have something going on. They may look fine to eye, but deep down they are hurting, struggling with a demon inside of them. Most of the time, it’s on their own; they keep it inside because they don’t want anyone to worry. Yes, that works for a while, but with time, you won’t be able to control it. It is okay to ask for help when you need it. It is okay to show people that you are hurting. It is okay to talk about how you are truly feeling. It does not make you weak. Put yourself first and forget about if it will hurt other people because this world needs you.
Reach out, and talk about it,
when you are ready,
because there are so many, or maybe a few, that understand what you are going through.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
